Speaking a request can feel more natural than typing it, but the resulting text must preserve your intent, names and constraints. Typeless is a voice-dictation tool to investigate for everyday writing. Use your real tasks to evaluate it before depending on it throughout your workflow.

What is Typeless?

Typeless describes turning speech into edited text for use in applications. Its Dictate guide explains starting to speak when the voice bar or interaction sound appears. See the product page and official Dictate guide.

The question is whether the text fits how you communicate. This guide does not claim a measured speed or Vietnamese accuracy rate for your voice and device.

Test an everyday task

Choose a message or an AI-agent instruction. State the objective, inputs and completion criteria. For example: research three AI video tools using official sources, compare suitable use cases and identify unverified information.

Read the output before sending. Check negative instructions, numbers and product names especially carefully. A missing word can change the task an agent performs.

Check mixed-language terminology separately

Prepare terms you use often, such as AI Agent, Hermes Agent, YouTube, Research and Case Study. Say them in complete sentences and longer passages, not just as isolated words.

If the tool rewrites your style, compare the result with the original intent. A smoother sentence is not necessarily a more accurate instruction. Prioritize filenames, quantities and constraints over a more polished tone.

Use a clear spoken prompt structure

  1. State the result you want.
  2. Explain the document, application or project context.
  3. Give constraints such as format, length, sources or what must stay unchanged.
  4. Name the expected deliverable: a comparison, draft or task list.

Pause between ideas. If you change your mind substantially, restating a complete sentence can be easier to review than a chain of corrections. This is a general speaking technique, not a claimed Typeless feature.

Before adopting it long term

Check operating-system support, microphone permissions, audio-processing policies and plan limits. Test the actual text fields you use rather than only a demo window. Measure speaking, waiting and correction time together.

For an existing interview or long video, transcription is a different need. See the Clipto recording-to-content workflow before choosing.
